NHS’ Eye-Catching Healthcare Posters Can Easily Be Ads For Horror Films

The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) is putting pharmacies at the forefront with a dramatic movie poster-inspired campaign.

The ‘Help us help you’ campaign aims to shine a light on local pharmacies as the first port of call, instead of the GP, for patients dealing with minor illnesses. Less pressing health concerns include an earache, itchy eyes, and a sore throat.

The message is sent through clever movie-like posters created by graphic designer Doaly, which feature fictional films such as Night of the Itchy Eye and Sore Throat and the Lost Voice.

The artwork depicting the Night of the Itchy Eye, for instance, shows a watery eye with a gritty sensation seemingly caused by an infection. “Take the drama out of minor illnesses, see a pharmacist,” the poster reads.

The visuals also come in animated versions equipped with useful information on symptoms one might encounter from each condition. Check out the posters below.

Take the drama out of minor illnesses. Pharmacies can give treatment advice about a range of common conditions and minor illnesses.
